Plans for new building
The school is about to begin phase two of our building project to become a permanent three form entry. From late July work will begin to strip out the existing hall, toilets and staff areas in preparation to start the main demolition works in August.
Week 1
The building site has been very busy this week, with initial ground works being completed and access from Witham Road being created. The children have enjoyed watching different machinery arriving on site and the fence being erected!
Week 2
On Thursday as we were walking through the corridor, we heard crunching noises as the old year 6 block was being knocked down. We saw the remaining wall of the art room with the original black board! We then watched the old year six block being demolished! They have also dug huge holes for the foundations!
